I attended the Long Island High School for the Arts my junior and senior year of high school. At LIHSA, I majored in Theatrical Design and Technology. Every month, we had a showcase of Musical Theatre, Music, Drama, and Dance pieces. At the end of both years, we had end of year shows for each of the departments and one combined end of year graduation show. Below are photos from showcase pieces that I was able to design.
During my senior year at LIHSA, I was required to do a senior thesis. My assignment was to work with two dancers to create my own story. The story was to be told with lighting design and I also had to pick an artist to base my lighting design from. I chose paintings Leonid Afremov as my inspiration. The video can be found below.
